The AC8 wireless router is a model specially designed to offer stable and fast connectivity. Equipped with a 1 GHz chip, the AC8 offers consistently excellent performance, a large data processing capacity and always stable Internet connections with its 4 6 dBi antennas. The Dual Band system can unify the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz signals and exploit the speed up to 1200 Mbps, or automatically choose the best band for a given device. The 5 GHz frequency band is set as a priority although the optimization system may automatically assign the 2.4 GHz frequency.

The combined Dual-Band technology provides speeds of up to 1167 Mbps, making full use of Gigabit fiber. Equipped with Gigabit LAN / WAN ports, AC8 supports broadband up to 1000 Mbps.

Smart Traffic Prioritization

The AC8 is able to unify the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. The 5 GHz WiFi band offers faster speed and less interference than 2.4 GHz and takes precedence in connecting to supported devices. The 2.4 GHz band manages to reach even the most difficult to reach spaces with a higher transmission range.

The era of IPv6 begins and the Internet takes off!

The AC8 supports the IPv6 protocol. Successor of IPv4, with this new protocol it will be possible to significantly increase the number of domestic devices such as refrigerators, televisions, stereos and even ovens, which will be able to communicate intelligently with each other through the Internet. IPv6 will allow, unlike what happened with IPv4, to have a personal IP address, a sort of telephone number for the Internet, to be assigned to each user regardless of which Internet provider you use and where you connect. This means, among other things, that it will be much easier to track navigators' movements which, however, fortunately will be encrypted thanks to the security systems already included in IPv6. Router processing times are also reduced, for a smooth and free online gaming experience without annoying lag.

AC8 is equipped with the latest account password migration function, just connect the WAN port of the old router to the AC8 LAN port and you can automatically copy the account from the old to the new router, making the life of the user easier.
