Hub, the intelligent central unit, is a key element of the Ajax security system. The device monitors the operation of all Ajax detectors and immediately sends an alarm signal to the owner and to the Central Station (ARC) if set. The device collects information on the operating status of the detectors in encrypted format, analyzes the data, and in the event of an alarm, notifies the system owner and the Alarm Receiving Center (CRA) in a few milliseconds.

The central unit of the security system is used to receive and then process the signals of the different detectors. The central unit is the main device of the security system, it determines the functioning possibilities of the installed burglar alarm. To choose the central unit, you need to know what types exist and what functions they have.

Intelligent central unit of the Ajax Hub security system

The intelligent central unit Ajax Hub checks the correct monitoring of all connected Ajax devices using the Jeweler radio protocol and immediately sends an alarm signal to all users of the system and to the alarm receiving centre. Jeweler radio technology allows you to monitor the operation of security system detectors up to a distance of 2000 m without obstacles. In case of radio signal inhibition, Jeweler transfers the entire system to clean frequencies. The conditions of the detectors are verified by communication requests (pings) at least every 12 seconds. Ajax Hub collects information about the operation of connected detectors in encrypted form, after which it analyzes the received data and, in the event of an alarm, immediately informs system users about the danger and also the alarm reception center. To send alarms, Ajax Hub uses two communication channels: GSM or Ethernet respectively for SMS messages, push notifications or phone calls.
