A second life for an old wired alarm

We know how difficult it is to decide to upgrade a wired alarm. This often happens when the system is still capable of protecting a property, even though it is clearly outdated. Renewing it using Ajax does not force you to dispose of the device in use. Ajax allows modern and professional security, based on the wired equipment already installed.

Security via smartphone

Switch to smart protection while keeping your old security devices. With MultiTransmitter, system users control security, information notifications and automation scenarios via the app. An installer can adjust system or device settings in the PRO app, either on-site or remotely.

Other Ajax functions

IR barriers, home gas detectors, temperature detectors, liquid level detectors and other devices are ready to expand the areas of use of Ajax. They can be connected to a hub via MultiTransmitter and the combined security system can thus be managed in the Ajax app.

Fewer problems with automated security

Use automation scenarios so that the Ajax security system responds to threats instantly without waiting for the police to arrive. Ajax will be armed according to the program, will turn on the light in case of alarm of a motion detector, turn off the first flammable source at the first sign of fire. With MultiTransmitter, an old alarm system becomes part of a safe and intelligent home.

Data-rich alarms

With MultiTransmitter, you can specify the name of the device, the type of alarm and the room it is located in. This makes notifications more informative: it tells you not only what happened, but also where. This information is displayed via push notification, SMS, and is also sent to the alarm receiving center of the security company. In total, nine types of alarms are available: intrusion, fire, emergency help, panic button, gas leak, flood, housing alarm, malfunction, service events.

Radio communication without compromising reliability

MultiTransmitter communicates with a hub via an encrypted Jeweler radio protocol. This is a TDMA technology developed by Ajax Systems for uninterrupted communication with devices. Jeweler detects jamming attempts, switches to reserve frequencies in case of interference and allows Ajax wireless devices to run on battery for years.

Security without barriers

Using a radio signal repeater, the Ajax security system network can cover up to 35km2. However, if some of the rooms are impenetrable to radio waves, the best solution is to connect the wired devices via MultiTransmitter. The length of the wires can reach up to 400 meters.

Protected against sabotage

MultiTransmitter will immediately report interference in the operation of connected devices: short circuit, broken cable or anti-tamper tamper. Even the interruption of electricity on the site will not be a problem: the backup battery can provide energy to the devices for up to 4 days. The MultiTransmitter case is equipped with two tampers that react to the removal of the integration module from the surface and the removal of the cover.

We have made sure that the installation and configuration process does not require any additional time or effort. Like other Ajax devices, the MultiTransmitter connects to a hub in the app by scanning the QR code. When connecting wired devices, you do not need to know the values of the resistors. The system will also alert you if a device has not been connected correctly.
