MotionCam Outdoor is equipped with two independent PIR sensors, whose signals are analyzed by the two-phase LISA algorithm. When both sensors detect movement, LISA performs correlative analysis of the signal spectrum, allowing you to immediately distinguish real threats from interference.

Correlative analysis

Every time MotionCam Outdoor detects movement, LISA analyzes and compares the shapes of the signals coming from the two sensors in real time. If they are similar, the alarm is activated.

Spectral analysis

When both sensors detect motion but correlative analysis does not identify sufficient similarities, LISA compares the frequency components of the signals from both sensors.

Surveillance of outdoor spaces and confirmation of alarms

MotionCam Outdoor is equipped with a camera to quickly assess the situation inside the protected structure. The detector takes an automatic series of photos as soon as it identifies an intrusion into the protected area. The series of photos is displayed in an animation that allows you to see the dynamics of the evolving situation. MotionCam Outdoor PhOD can take a series of photos upon a user's request from the Ajax mobile application, regardless of the security mode.

Camera designed for surveillance

An outdoor camera is often found taking photos in difficult lighting conditions. Direct sunlight, reflective surfaces, or street lighting can hinder the camera, robbing images of critical details. This is not acceptable for a safety device. We have accepted the challenge of obtaining clear and sharp images capable of confirming intrusions in a few seconds and allowing security institutions to react in time.

Quality is in the details

We rejected a plastic optical system to create a waterproof glass and metal lens. The wide-angle lens covers the entire protected area, providing a complete image of what's happening. In bright light, an infrared filter is automatically applied to ensure distortion-free color reproduction and two powerful IR LEDs allow you to see intruders even in total darkness.

HDR

To capture a photo, MotionCam Outdoor takes two consecutive short exposure photos. The processor merges shots instantly, equalizing the balance between light and dark areas, then compresses the image for faster transmission. Thanks to HDR, the detector uses less IR backlight at night to save battery.

Advantages of photo verification

If in doubt, system users can check what is happening in the plant. There is no need to wait for an alarm. Just open the application and you will see the situation in a few moments. Outdoor motion detectors operate in a complex environment full of natural sources of false alarms. MotionCam Outdoor allows system users and central station operators to see within seconds whether the alarm is real, so they can respond accordingly. Both system users and the security patrol must be able to clearly understand what is happening in the plant when an alarm is activated. The detector will show how many criminals are present on the premises and whether they are armed. This will help the patrol to prepare properly and users will be able to avoid danger. A series of animated photos in the application allows you to transmit the characteristics of the thieves to the police without wasting time. Thanks to the infrared backlight, the detector detects attackers even in complete darkness. This increases the chances of catching criminals on the spot.

Exclusive wireless technologies

The detector uses two protocols simultaneously: Jeweler for alarm notifications and Wings for photo transmission. Jeweler guarantees instant delivery of alarms while Wings sends the first photo from the system in 9 seconds. Even with interrupted communication or weak signal. Thanks to the communication range with the Ajax hub of up to 1700 meters, the detector can beinstalled where it will be most useful.

MotionCam Outdoor is heat resistant up to +60°С and cold resistant up to -25°С. And to protect the sensors of the anti-masking system from rain and snow, we provide a special Hood.

The detector connects to your Ajax security system in just a few clicks. Open the Ajax app, scan the QR code and add the detector to the room. There is no need to disassemble the detector housing. The SmartBracket mounting panel allows you to mount the detector securely either on a flat surface or in a corner.
