Communication with the outside world is essential for the security system control panel. Its reliability and stability guarantees timely sending of the alarm to the security company and users. Hub 2 can be connected simultaneously to three internet service providers: via Ethernet cable and 2G, 3G, and LTE 2 cellular networks. Automatic switching between channels occurs in seconds.

Guaranteed delivery of alarms and photo-verifications

To ensure reliable communications, we equipped Hub 2 with four antennas and support for two proprietary radio protocols: Jeweler and Wings. Jeweler takes care of the transmission of commands, events and alarms, while Wings takes care of the batch transmission of images. Ajax two-way radio communication uses framing to synchronize device communication, authentication to eliminate forgery, and encryption to protect against data leaks.

Flexibility at the center

The Hub 2 radio network covers several floors and separate buildings: thanks to a communication range of 2000 meters and the possibility of connecting up to 5 repeaters. To manage access to the plant's security areas, the hub allows the connection of 50 users and the creation of 9 security groups. Hub 2 is a perfect choice for home and business security.

Controlled via app

We didn't want buttons on the control panel case or obsolete interfaces: the apps are more convenient and secure. They connect to a hub via a secure channel of the Ajax Cloud server located in different AWS data centers. In 2021, server availability was 99.995%.

The apps allow administrator users to manage the security of the system, change the settings of the hub and the devices connected to it, create scenarios and monitor events. From smartphone or PC. On site or remotely.

Automated security

Hub 2 allows you to create 32 scenarios and minimize the impact of the human factor on safety. The hub can arm or disarm a system or group upon programming. Activate a smoke machine immediately if anyone enters the building. Turn off the power in the building and turn on the emergency lights in case of fire. Or turn off the water in case of flooding. Control lights, electric locks, shutters, and garage doors by arming/disarming, pressing a button or when detecting an alarm.

Resistant to sabotage attempts

Whatever happens to Hub 2, the security company and users will be informed. No one can disconnect the hub unnoticed, even when the system is disarmed. If an intruder tries to disassemble the device, this will immediately trigger the tamper. The Ajax Cloud server can send notifications about connection loss with the hub in 60 seconds thanks to frequent polling. Even if the building remains without power, the hub protects the system for up to 16 hours thanks to the supplied backup battery.

Innovation-proof

Hub 2 Plus runs on the OS Malevich operating system, a real-time operating system developed by Ajax Systems. The OS Malevich operating system is extremely stable, immune to viruses and protected from cyber attacks. The modular architecture simplifies the constant updating of the OS Malevich operating system.

The hub receives new features several times a year with over-the-air updates. The update process is automatic and takes a few minutes, when the security system is disarmed. The hardware configuration will allow Hub 2 to evolve and remain updated for years to come.

Hassle-free installation

Hub 2 is ready to use right out of the box. All communication modules, power supply and backup battery are already installed. To start installing the system you need to connect the device to power and the Internet, insert the SIM cards and scan the QR code through the app. Thanks to the SmartBracket mounting panel there is no need to disassemble the case during installation.

Connect security devices, cameras, users, test the radio signal, create groups and scenarios and even send a connection request to CRA - all system settings are always available in the Ajax apps. Whether you are on site or not.
