White electrical terminal for 0.75mm cables
These reliable wire ferrules ensure a rigid terminal when connecting wires to terminal blocks or captive terminals. A ferrule is a metal tube or ring with a colored insulating collar made of nylon. The bushing is threaded over the end of a multi-stranded cable, crimped and then inserted into a screw or spring terminal connection. When the end of a multi-strand wire is stripped and placed directly under a screw terminal the wire strands will naturally open under the pressure of the screw. Some of the strands will come out. This reduces the quality of the electrical connection and can also cause short circuits. When a ferrule is used, the insulated lug with flared design accommodates all strands. These strands are then crimped together into the bushing tube. The crimped bushing is then inserted into the terminal to create an electrical connection
